Elvira Santos Mendoza

With peaceful hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, a beautiful soul whose love, kindness, and gentle spirit will remain with us always. Elvira Santos Mendoza, 95, entered into eternal rest on June 20, 2026 She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Armando Flores Mendoza parents, Ramon Santos and Reyes Tapia de Santos, children, Alice Baiz, Roberto Quiroz and David Quiroz. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Anthony (Linda) Quiroz, Yolanda(Roy) Gray, John(Maria) Quiroz, Dorothy(Fernando) Baldazo, Julian(Rosemary+) Quiroz, Michael(Maria) Quiroz, Elva(Santiago Chapa) Quiroz as well as numerous grandkids and great-great grandkids.

A vigil and celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Hillside Funeral and Cremations from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer at 7:00 p.m. Chapel Service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Hillside Funeral and Cremations. Interment will follow to the City of Laredo Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: John Quiroz, Michael Quiroz, Julian Quiroz, Fernando Baldazo, Roy Gray,Santiago Chapa, David Medina Jr and Michael Quiroz Jr.
