Hoy despedimos a Emilia, una mujer fuerte y valiente que superó cada dificultad que la vida le presentó. Su coraje y su determinación nos inspiran a todos y su legado de fortaleza será un ejemplo para siempre.

Habiendo vivido siempre en el seno de nuestra Iglesia Católica, Apostólica y Romana; y confortada su alma con los santos sacramentos Emilia fue llamada al encuentro de nuestro Señor Jesucristo pacíficamente en su hogar rodeada de su familia el domingo 16 de junio de 2024 a la edad de 97 años.

A Emilia le sobreviven sus hijos Sra. Sylvia Baho Salinas, Sr. Jorge Baho (María Guadalupe), Sra. Gloria Baho Vda. de Solís, Sr. Francisco Baho (Bobbie), Sra. Rosa Emilia Baho, nietos, bisnietos, tataranietos y demás familiares. Le preceden al encuentro de Dios sus padres Sr. Baltazar Torres y Sra. María Garza de Torres; su esposo Sr. Francisco Baho Rada; y sus hijas Rebeca Baho, Sra. Sandra Leticia Baho Vda. de Gutiérrez, Sra. Martha Lidia Baho de González y Sra. María Teresa Baho.

Emilia dedicó su vida a su familia trabajando incansablemente para asegurar un futuro mejor para cada una de sus generaciones descendientes. Además, fue una excelente anfitriona y apasionada cocinera que compartió su gusto por el juego de lotería mexicana creando memorables tertulias familiares donde se degustaban sus exquisitas muestras de arte culinario.

Sus hijos, nietos, bisnietos, tataranietos y demás familiares recordarán con cariño cómo Emilia les inspiró para fundar hogares donde el servicio al prójimo es primordial, animándoles a compartir sus talentos sin esperar nada a cambio; y le piden a usted que eleve a Dios Nuestro Señor las oraciones que su piedad dicte por el eterno descanso de su alma.

Emilia será profundamente extrañada por su familia y amigos, pero su legado perdurará sin fin. Descansa en paz querida Emilia y que tu alma vuele alto al encuentro eterno de Dios.

La familia recibira el pesame el dia viernes 21 de junio del 2024 desde las 5 de la tarde hasta las 9 de la noche. Se ofrecera un Rosario por su eterno descanso a las 7 de la tarde.

El cortejo partira de la funeraria el dia sabado 22 de junio del 2024 a las 10:45 de la mañana hacia la Iglesia Catolica de San Juan Neumann para una Misa de Cuerpo Presente a las 11 de la mañana.

Se despide en el Cementerio de la Ciudad de Laredo.

Today, we say goodbye to Emilia, a strong and brave woman who overcame every difficulty that life presented. Her courage and determination inspire us all and her legacy of strength will be an example forever.

Having always lived within our Catholic, Apostolic and Roman Church; and her soul comforted with the Holy Sacraments, Emilia was called to meet our Lord Jesus Christ peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, June 16, 2024. She was 97 years young.

Emilia is survived by her children Mrs. Sylvia Baho Salinas, Mr. Jorge Baho (María Guadalupe), Mrs. Gloria Baho Vda. de Solís, Mr. Francisco Baho (Bobbie), Mrs. Rosa Emilia Baho, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and other relatives. She is preceded to meet God by her parents Mr. Baltazar Torres and Mrs. María Garza de Torres; her husband Mr. Francisco Baho Rada; and their daughters Rebeca Baho, Mrs. Sandra Leticia Baho Vda. de Gutiérrez, Mrs. Martha Lidia Baho de González and Mrs. María Teresa Baho.

Emilia dedicated her life to her family, working tirelessly to ensure a better future for each of her descendant generations. In addition, she was an excellent host and passionate cook who shared her enjoyment for the Mexican lotería game, creating memorable family gatherings where her exquisite samples of culinary art were tasted.

Her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and other family members will fondly remember how Emilia inspired them to found homes where service to others is paramount, encouraging them to share their talents without expecting anything in return; and they ask you to raise to God Our Lord the prayers that your piety dictates for the eternal rest of her soul.

Emilia will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her legacy will live on endlessly. Rest in peace dear Emilia and may your soul fly high to meet with God eternally.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, June 21, 2024, from 5 to 9 pm at Hillside Fuenrals & Cremations, where a Rosary for the eternal repose of her soul will be offered at 7 pm.

The funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 10:45 am to St. John Neumann Catholic Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
