Esteban Cuellar, Jr., 86, has completed his journey on earth and entered into the presence of the Almighty and eternal God on June 4, 2025, in Laredo, Texas, surrounded by his loving family by his side. Esteban was a member of the US Air Force for over 6 years, achieving the rank of SSGT, who was Honorably Discharged in 1965. He was an Aircraft Mechanic during his 6 years in the Armed Forces. A man of great faith and devotion to God and to his family. He will be forever remembered and deeply missed.
Esteban was born on December 18, 1938, in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to the late: Esteban and Florinda Cuellar. He is further preceded in death by his siblings: Olimpa Cuellar, Loida Cuellar, Ismael Cuellar, Efrain Cuellar.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved spouse of 51 years of marriage, Guillermina Rodriguez de Cuellar; children: Florinda (Fidel Martinez) Cuellar-Martinez, Adolfo Cuellar, Elizabeth Cuellar; brother: Ariel Cuellar; grandchildren: Abigail Martinez, Alejandro Martinez, and Abraham Martinez, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
The family will receive condolences on Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 5 to 9 pm at Hillside Funerals and Cremations, where a Prayer Service will be held in the chapel at 7 pm with Pastor Humberto Javier Flores.
Funeral Service will commence at 9:30 am on Monday, June 9, 2025, in the Hillside Funerals and Cremations chapel.
Procession will form and depart at 10 am to the Laredo City Cemetery, Hero's Hall for the Military Honor Presentation and Honors by the US Air Force Laughlin Honor Guard and the Laredo Veterans Honor Guard.
