Eustolio Vallejo Rossel

Mr. Eustolio Vallejo Rossel, 90, was called home to be with the Lord in Heaven on December 15, 2023, in Laredo, Texas. He was born in Lubbock, Texas, the son of the late Abraham and Elvira Vallejo Rossel. Eustolio lived a long and fruitful life, having always been a great son, father, husband, grandfather great-grandfather and devoted son to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Both Eustolio and his wife Eva were longtime parishioners and supporters of San Luis Rey Catholic Church, their home parish that they always prayed for and supported.  Eustolio worked and retired from the Powell Watson Motor Corporation, having worked and loving every day he did so.

He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Jesus Rossel, Herminia (Eutimio) Vazquez, Maria Ramos, Fernando (Mine) Rossel, Catarino (Manuela) Rossel, Delfina Rossel, Maria Baker, and Mr. Guadalupe Rossel.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 57 years of marriage: Mrs. Eva Gamez Rossel; children: Eva Elvira (Richard) Rossell-Rodriguez, Ana Laura (Santiago Jr.) Ancira, Maria Celia (Julio Cesar) Rossel-Taboada, and Eustolio Rossell Jr.; grandchildren: Christa Ava Rodriguez, Santiago (Julia Ollervides) Ancira III, April Ann (Wilson Bautista) Ancira, Ashley Aileen (Alex) Ancira-Rios, Angel Abraham Ancira, Julio Cesar Taboada Jr., Diego Alberto Taboada, Carlo Joaquin Taboada, Hector Daniel Rossel, Kristian Alexis Rossell, Isabella Alejandra Rossell; great-grandchildren: Santiago Ancira IV, Yeneisy Alani Ancira, Haley Nevaeh Medina, Kaley Medina, Jose Guadalupe Medina, Miguel Ancira, Leah Eva Rios, Camila Alessandra Perez; siblings: Juanita (Albino) Rodriguez, Gloria (Donato) Rios; sister-in-law: Guadalupe Rossel and brother-in-law: Juan Ramos, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, from 5 to 9 pm at Hillside Funerals & Cremations, where a Rosary will be recited at 7 pm.

Funeral procession will depart the chapel at 9:30 am on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at San Luis Rey Catholic Church at 10 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
