Federico Negrete, 71, entered into eternal rest on August 7, 2026 in San Antonio, Texas surrounded by his loving family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Federico Negrete Romo and Maria del Refugio Negrete Martinez; and his sibling, Guadalupe Arreguin.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Alma Gabriela Negrete; children, Federico Negrete, Ruby Negrete, Gabriel (Roxanna) Negrete, David (Marisol) Negrete, Olivia (Jeremy) Thomas, Perla Negrete, Maria Negrete and April Negrete; and 11 grandchildren; siblings, Norma Negrete, Dora Negrete, Beatriz Negrete, Thomasa Negrete, Jorge Negrete and Josefina Negrete. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at Hillside Funerals and Cremations from 5 pm to 9 pm. A rosary will be recited at 7 pm.
Funeral services will continue on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at Hillside Funerals and Cremations beginning at 7 am. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 to St. Patrick Catholic Church for a mass at 10am.
Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
