Felicitas Martinez Cortes, 105, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021 in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Martinez Cortes is preceded in death by her husband, Jose A. Cortes; parents, Guillermo and Maria del Refugio Martinez.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Luis (Dr. Guadalupe) Cortes, Mario (Eliza+) Cortez, Ramona Cortez, Maria (Pablo Pedraza+) Cortez, Carmen (Jorge Luis+) Sanchez, Alicia (Hector Hugo+) Pedraza, and Raul Cortes. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A prayer service will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. at Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

A chapel service will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Hillside Funeral Home. Procession will depart immediately after to the City of Laredo Cemetery.
