Gerald Lee Shinn

Gerald Lee Shinn, 56, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 26, 2018 in Austin, Texas. Gerald was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He will be greatly missed by his family. Mr. Shinn is preceded in death by his father Bobby Lee Shinn and brother Richard Shinn. He is survived by his mother Mary Shinn; siblings, Edward Shinn, David (Melissa) Shinn, Veronica (Mike) Connor and Philip (Carrie) Shinn. He is also survived by nieces and nephews Philip Michael, Patrick, Amanda, Meagan, Matthew, Thomas and Richard; 4 great nieces and nephews, Lily Rose, Jordan, Colton and Dani Rae, other relatives and friends. A vigil will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 8:15 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to St. John Neumann Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 8:30a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
