Gloria Bernal

Gloria “Cha Cha” Bernal passed away on April 2, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leandro Ambros and Delia Garcia; and by her brothers-in-law, Juan Alberto Bernal and Gerardo Bernal.

Gloria shared 52 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Antonio Bernal Jr.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Antonio Bernal Jr.; her children, Antonio Bernal III, Noemi B. Garcia (Fermin IV), Sonia Murillo (Rudy), and Cassie Garcia (Lucio); her cherished grandchildren, Matthew J. Garcia, Nicolas Murillo, Vida Murillo, Mia Garcia, and Camila Garcia; her brother, Leandro Ambros Jr.; her nieces, Kathy Collins, Crystal Gutierrez, Sara Ambros, and Jessica Ambros; her sisters- and brothers-in-law, Irma Bernal, Gabriel Bernal, and Javier Bernal; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Message from the Family:

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved mother.

Our mom was truly one of a kind—feisty, strong-willed, and full of life. She spoke her mind, stood her ground, and faced the world with a spirit that was uniquely hers. But above all else, she loved deeply and fiercely. Her children were her greatest pride, and there was nothing she wouldn’t do for us.

She shared 52 beautiful years of marriage with our dad, a testament to a lifetime of love, commitment, and partnership.

In honoring her wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. Instead, we will gather privately as her children and grandchildren to celebrate her life, share memories, and hold her close in the way she would have wanted.

Though she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in each of us—in our strength, our laughter, and the love we carry forward.
