Guillermina Muñoz

Miss Guillermina Munoz, 68, entered into the gates of paradise on May 19, 2025, at 11:21 am in Laredo, Texas. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Guillermina was born in East Chicago, Indiana in 1957 as the second child of 4 daughters born to Julio and Maria Munoz. Their time together was often spent working in the businesses her father owned, which included a grocery store and gas station. She graduated from Bishop Knoll Institute. Later, when her family relocated to Laredo, Texas, she received an Associates Degree from LCC. She became an esteemed team member with H-E-B Groceries, where she worked for ten years. 

Guillermina was a thoughtful and caring daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She lived a very full life. She travelled to Nuevo, Laredo often when she was younger, loved taking photos, listening to music, enjoyed rewatching Gilmore Girls, and always remembered to send a birthday card to her loved ones. She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. 

She is preceded in death by her parents: Julio and Maria Munoz.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her sisters: Maria Julia (Francisco Javier†) Reyes, Sylvia (Preciliano) Cisneros, Isabel Munoz and her beloved niece that she loved like a daughter, Michelle Lizette Munoz. Also survived by her nieces and nephews: Miguel A. Munoz, Christina Breland, Julio, Alejandro, Antonio, Mario, and Sylvia Cisneros. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. 

The family will receive condolences on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 11 am until 2 pm at Hillside Funerals and Cremations, where a Liturgy of the Word will commence at 1 pm.

Funeral services will continue following the visitation at Panteon Jardin de Los Angeles in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, where she will be laid to rest at 3 pm with her beloved parents.
