Imelda L. Gonzalez

Mrs. Imelda L. Gonzalez, 85, entered into the arms of God on April 12, 2023 in Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents: J. Jesus Linares and Maria Camacho; her siblings: Purificacion Linares Camacho, Sara Linares Camacho, Adan Linares Camacho, Jesus Linares Camacho; nephew: Alejandro Olvera Linares; husband: Antonio Gonzalez Garza.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her children: Imelda Bonachea, Alfonso (Cynthia) Gonzalez; grandchildren: Miguel Bonachea, Erick Bonachea, Kristel Gonzalez, Cassandra McEwan, Daniella Perez, Bryan Gonzalez, Dominick Gonzalez, Erik Gonzalez; siblings: Javier Linares Camacho, Fernando Linares Camacho, Gerardo Linares Camacho, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and her many friends at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, where she was a faithful parishioner for many years.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, April 17, 2023, from 5 pm to 9 pm at Hillside Funerals & Cremations, 310 W. Hillside Rd, where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be offered at 7 pm by Rev. Deacon Roger Martinez.

The funeral procession will depart the funeral chapel at 10:30 am on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1602 Garcia St., for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow to the Laredo City Cemetery.
