Jaiden Andre “El Borrado” Contreras Alvarado, age 14, passed away on May 9, 2026.

A student at Christen Middle School, Jaiden was known for his bright smile, kind heart, and happy-go-lucky personality that could light up any room. He loved making people smile and brought joy to those around him everywhere he went.

Jaiden enjoyed sports and was active in football and basketball. He was also proud to be part of his school band. Outside of school, he loved the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, and spending time at the ranch with family and friends. He had a special love for animals and dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, a goal he had already begun pursuing after earning a scholarship toward his future studies. Jaiden also aspired to one day serve his country by enlisting in the United States Army. Sweet, caring, and full of life, Jaiden will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Francisco Hernandez de la Rosa, and his great-grandparents, Enrique “Henry” Anchondo, Olga Sanchez, and Juanita Cuellar.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Irene S. Hernandez and Alex Alvarado; his father, Andrew I. Contreras; his sisters, Lia Contreras, Alezandra Alvarado, and Mikkaela Alvarado; his grandparents, San Juanita Hernandez, George Guerra, Isabel Rendon, and Juan Alvarado; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
