Javier "Xavier" Lira

Xavier Lira, 69, entered into eternal rest on October 9, 2024, in Mirando City, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Paula Lira, parents, Silvester & Guadalupe Lira & siblings: Alberto Lira & Pedro Lira.

Left to cherish his memory are his children: Javier (Julia) Lira Jr., Juan (Georgina) Lira, Eliza (Jose Luis) Valverde, Miguel Angel Lira. Grandchildren; Osiris Lira, Travis Lira, Dominic Lira, Andrea Valverde, Anissa Valverde, Olivia Valverde, Ana Paula Valverde, Siblings: Silvester (Sara+) Lira, Gloria (Ruben) Ramon, Alicia (Pedro) Villarreal, Gilda (Joe) Medina, Raquel (Oscar) Reyna, sisters in law: San Juana Lira & Maria Concepcion Lira, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, from 5 to 9 pm at Hillside Funerals & Cremations, where a Rosary will be offered at 7 pm.

Funeral procession will depart the funeral chapel at 9:30 am on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, to St. Agnes Catholic Mission in Mirando City, Texas, for a Liturgy of the Word to be celebrated at 10:30 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Magnolia Cemetery in Mirando City, Texas.
