Jesus M. Salinas Rodriguez, a beloved soul whose life was illuminated by love and family, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2026, in Laredo, Texas, surrounded by his cherished loved ones. Born on December 14, 1943, in Mexico, Jesus exhibited a warmth and kindness that endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Jesus was preceded in death by his loving parents, Felix Salinas and Tilsa Rodriguez de Salinas, whose values and teachings shaped the man he became. He is also preceded in death by his siblings, Gilberto Salinas (Rosario), Raul Salinas (Maria), and Ramon Salinas (Brisa).

A devoted brother, uncle, and friend, Jesus is survived by his siblings, Alonso Salinas (+Lita), Socorro Salinas (Cruz de la Rosa), Jose M. Salinas (Blanca), Rogelio Salinas (Sara), Emma Salinas, and Daniel Salinas. Jesus will also be missed by his numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends who were touched by his gentleness and spirit throughout his life.

At this time of farewell, family and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate the life of Jesus at Hillside Funeral & Cremations, located at 310 Hillside Rd., Laredo, TX, 78041. A visitation will be held on January 18, 2026, from 5 PM to 9 PM, allowing all who knew him a chance to reminisce and share their love. On January 19, 2026, a funeral service will commence at 7 AM, followed by a prayer service at 10 AM, culminating with a graveside service at Calvary Catholic Cemetery at 11:30 AM. The community is encouraged to come together during this time to honor a life well-lived and a heart that will remain forever in their memories.

Jesus M. Salinas Rodriguez's legacy of love and togetherness will continue to inspire and uplift his family, ensuring that his spirit will live on through the lives he touched. Though his physical presence has departed, the love he shared and the memories created will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew him.
