Jose Guadalupe Garcia

Jose Guadalupe Garcia "Lupe" born on January 15, 1963, in Laredo, TX, passed away on November 23, 2025, at the age of 62.

Lupe was a beloved husband, father, brother, son, and friend known for his kindness, generosity and humor. He is preceded in death by his father, Jesus Adolfo Garcia; his mother, Bertha Carreon; his beloved wife, Valerie Garcia; brother, Phillip Garcia; brother, Arturo Garcia; brother, Eduardo Garcia and is survived by his son, Joe Garcia; daughter, Victoria Estrada; brother, Jesse Garcia; sister, Maria Gonzalez; sister, Sara Arriaga; sister, Margarita Arriaga; his grandchildren Caleb, Isabella, Adam and Elijah and a host of many other family and friends.

He had a passion for fishing, spending time with family and was an avid Washington Commanders and Houston Astros fan. He brought joy to all those around him with his sense of humor and joyful spirit. His memory will live on in our hearts, and he will be profoundly missed.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Hillside Funerals and Cremations, located at 310 W. Hillside Rd., Laredo, Texas 78041, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A chapel service will begin at 11:00 a.m. and conclude at 11:45 a.m. The funeral procession will depart at 12:00 p.m. for Calvary Catholic Cemetery, where a graveside service will be held at 12:15 p.m.
