Jose Maria Guajardo

Jose Maria Guajardo, 78, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2019 in Laredo, Texas. Mr. Guajardo is preceded in death by his parents, Sabas and Santos Guajardo. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Cristina Guajardo; sons, Jose Ma. Guajardo Jr., Guillermo (Laura) Guajardo, and David (Nelda) Guajardo; grandchildren, Alejandro Guajardo, Brianna Guajardo, Alyssa Guajardo, Arturo Guerrero, Kimberly (Roman) Iturbide, David Guajardo Jr., Andrew Guajardo and Andrea Guajardo; siblings, Sabas (Evelia) Guajardo, Rosalinda Guajardo, Nydia Guajardo, Teresa Guajardo, Lourdes (Gilberto) Caballero, Jose Bulmaro (Beatriz) Guajardo and Mellie Guajardo; sisters-in-law, Felicitas (Homero) Lopez, Maria de la Luz Acevedo, Alicia (Cornelio) Elizondo, and Leticia (Gustavo) Cabrera. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Veteran section of the City of Laredo Cemetery.
