Listen to Obituary

Juan Justo Garza, 72, passed away on June 1, 2026.

He was a gifted musician for more than 50 years, spending much of his life playing drums in various conjunto bands. Music was a true passion of his and a defining part of who he was. He also cherished carne asadas and family gatherings, where his presence brought warmth, joy, and togetherness to those he loved.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Victoriana Garza, and his twin sons, Juan Garza and Justo Garza.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Rosa Alicia Garza; his children, Norma Alicia Garza, Priscilla Alice Molina (Raul F. Molina Jr.), and Juan Justo "JJ" Garza Jr. (Giovanna Sarmiento); his grandchildren, Loren Cheyanne Canales, Kenneth Rey Medina, Raul F. Molina III, Ava Rose Garza, and Zoe Justine Garza; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

The family of Mr. Juan Justo Garza extends their heartfelt gratitude to his dedicated physicians: his primary care physician, Armando Hinojosa; his oncologist, Mohsen Ghadimi Mahani; and his pulmonologist, Benson Y. Huang. We are especially grateful to Dr. Hinojosa and Dr. Ghadimi-Mahani for the loving, compassionate, and patient care they provided throughout Mr. Garza’s journey. Your kindness, dedication, and unwavering support brought comfort not only to Juan but also to his family, and for that, we will always be deeply thankful.
