Juan Gomez Juan Gomez, 99, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017 in Laredo, Texas. Mr. Gomez worked at Jett Bowl for over 40 years. Mr. Gomez is preceded by his parents, Donaciano and Gabina L. Gomez. He is survived by his niece, Catherine Hernandez; nephew, Enrique Hernandez; grandnephews, Fred (Carmen) Hernandez, Jr., Chito (Martha) Hernandez, David Hernandez, Robert (Sandy) Hernandez, Nick Hernandez; grandniece, Terry (Greg) Eliss. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
