Juan Manuel "Meme" Navarro

Juan Manuel "Meme" Navarro, 71, was called by the Lord on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Francisco and Francisca Navarro; and his brother, Francisco Navarro Jr.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Carmen Navarro; his children, Christine Navarro, Juan Manuel Navarro Jr., Vanessa Teniente (Alfredo Jr.), Clemente Navarro (Jeneffer), and Francisca Uvalle (Daniel Jr.); 20 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Martha Simoncini (Paul), San Juana Espinoza (+Juan), Alicia Navarro, Roberto Navarro (Sara Vilma), and Jose Antonio Navarro. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Hillside Funerals & Cremations, 310 W. Hillside Rd., Laredo, Texas 78041, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.

Visitation will continue on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. The funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. for San Luis Rey Catholic Church, where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.

Interment will follow immediately at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Clemente Navarro, Ricardo Navarro, Juan Antonio Carranco Jr., Alfredo Teniente Jr., Daniel Uvalle Jr., Adalberto Teniente, Alfredo Teniente III, and Daniel Uvalle III.
