Juan P. Robles

Juan P. Robles, 98, was called by the Lord on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Josefa Robles; and siblings, Julian Robles and Procoro Robles (Francisca).

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Laura Vergara (Samuel), Frances Robles, Patricia Robles, Maria Engracia Robles, Josefina Hernandez, Lourdes Robles, and Juan Robles Jr. (Dora); 18 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Juan Vergara, Samuel Vergara Jr., Juan Robles Jr., Juan David Robles III, Ricardo Contreras, Cecilia Ayala, Erica Garcia, and Jessica Vergara.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Hillside Funerals & Cremations, 310 W. Hillside Rd., Laredo, Texas 78041, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.

Visitation will resume on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at Hillside Funerals & Cremations. The funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. and proceed to San Luis Rey Catholic Church, where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.
