Julia V. Herrera

Julia V. Herrera, 83, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 in Laredo, Texas. Mrs. Herrera worked for L.I.S.D for 25 years. Mrs. Herrera is preceded in death by her parents, Bruno Vidaurri and Manuela C. Vidaurri; sister, Maria Santos Cousin; son-in-law, Rafael Estrada. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years Humberto Herrera; children, Juan H. Herrera, Maria Guadalupe (Rafael+) Estrada, Raul (Sonia) Herrera, Ruben Herrera, Gloria (David) Castillo. Mrs. Herrera is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 8:00 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
