Leticia Brooks

Our Dear Mother, Leticia C. Brooks, 66 was called to be united with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, September 16, 2022. She was a wonderful Sister, Mother, Grandmother, and Great grandmother. She was a kind-hearted person that was always there when you needed her.

She entered this world on August 14, 1956, in Laredo, TX, born to Jose and Rebecca Cantu. She is survived by her daughters Jessica Cantu, Crystal (Vicente J Cuellar), Son Leopoldo Brooks Jr. Brother Cesar Cantu, Sister Veronica Abrego, Grandchildren Erin Leal, Rebekah Nix (Freddy Muñoz), Nicholas Nix, Abigail Cuellar, Leo Cuellar, Christopher Cuellar and Great Grandchildren Wyatt and Kailey. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Rebecca Cantu, brother, Javier L. Cantu Sr. and husband Leopoldo Brooks, Sr.

A special thanks to Mrs. Deyanira Uribe for being a great caregiver and an amazing friend.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, September 26, 2022, at Hillside Funerals and Cremations from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

Services will conclude at the chapel.
