Leticia Ortiz de Morua, 73, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 13, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Porfirio and Alicia Ortiz; and siblings, Porfirio Ortiz, San Juana Rodriguez (Vidal), Nelia Ruiz (Juan Carlos), Alma Calvillo (Martin), and Norberto Ortiz (Julia).

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, Carlos Morua M.; children, Carlos Morua III (Ideana), Gladys Morua Quiroga (Roberto), and Anel Martinez (Julio); grandchildren, Denisse Morua, Carlos Morua IV, Meagan Morua, Genesis Morua, Isaiah Martinez, Jayna Martinez, and Jonas Martinez; siblings, Nora Rodriguez (Antonio) and Jorge Ortiz (Martha); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Hillside Funerals & Cremations, 310 W. Hillside Rd., Laredo, Texas 78041. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., led by Pastor Julio Patiño of Casa de Oración.
