Lillian Monica (Ramon) Esquivel, 44, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at her residence in Laredo, Texas. She was born on October 17, 1975, in Houston, Texas, raised in Mirando City, Texas, and subsequently moved to Laredo, Texas. She graduated from Bruni High School located in Bruni, Texas, in 1994, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Texas A & M International University in Laredo, Texas, in 2004. She married Felix E. Esquivel on July 27, 2018, in Laredo, Texas. She worked as a first-grade teacher at Dr. Henry Cuellar Elementary School in Laredo, Texas, for 15 years and loved every child whose life she had the pleasure of being a part of in that role. Lilly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures - spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She loved the beach, reading children’s books, and dancing. In her husband’s words, “She was perfect.” She is survived by her loving husband Felix E. Esquivel; children Nadia Anís Jimenez, Felix E. Esquivel Jr., Jaime Ilan Jimenez, and Roberto Daniel Esquivel; parents Jose Ruben Ramon Sr., Gloria Irma Ramon; siblings Ruben (Diana) Ramon Jr., and Gabriel (Chabacana) Ramon; parents-in-law Felix C. Esquivel, Carmen Esquivel, sisters-in-law Brenda (Mario) Gonzalez, and Carmen (Jose) Ramirez. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and her family, friends, and students, past and present, at Dr. Henry Cuellar Elementary School. A rosary will be recited on Sunday, November 10, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home chapel.  A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 11, 2019, at 9:45 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to St. John Neumann Catholic Church.  Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot in the Magnolia Cemetery in Mirando City, Texas.  Pallbearers will be Larry Lira, Robby Lira, Ben Ramon Jr., Paul Ramon, Ruben Ramon Jr., and Gabriel Ramon. Honorary Pallbearers will be Nadia Anís Jimenez, Felix E. Esquivel, Jaime Ilan Jimenez, and Roberto Daniel Esquivel.
