Lorenzo Vasquez Jr.

Lorenzo Vasquez Jr., born December 17, 1968, in Laredo, TX, and later of Hebbronville, TX, died on May 25, 2026, at Laredo Medical Hospital.He was preceded in death by his father, Lorenzo Vasquez Sr., and his brother, Ricardo Vasquez.

He is survived by his mother, Juanita Vasquez, and sisters Patricia Alvarado, Sonia Armando, and Norma. He also leaves behind his children Lorenzo III Vasquez and wife Isabel, Jaime Jesus Vasquez and wife Kyara, Mireya Hernandez and husband Joseluis, Luis Alberto Vasquez and wife Sandra, and Ilsa Vasquez, along with ten grandchildren: Jaime Vasquez Jr., Emma Vasquez, Katherine Vasquez, Sophie Hernandez, Kayla Vasquez, Lyla Vasquez, Lorenzo Vasquez, Luis Alberto Jr., Jayden Vasquez, and Michael Hernandez.

He is also survived and fondly remembered by a large extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends whose lives he touched.

A visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Hillside Funerals & Cremations, 310 W. Hillside Rd., Laredo, TX 78041. A Liturgy of the Word and Rosary will be officiated at 7:00 p.m. Cremation will be held at a later date.
