Luz Idalia Romero

Mrs. Luz Idalia Romero, 54, entered into God's kingdom on September 12, 2025, in Laredo, TX.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Isela Elizabeth Romero; father: Tomas G. Sandoval.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her children: Luz Idalia Valdez (Eric Valdez); mother, Maria Victoria Sandoval; grandchildren: Alayna Elizabeth Valdez, Ella Rose Valdez, and soon to be welcomed to this earth, Ezra David Valdez; siblings: Mary Elizabeth Sandoval, Rodolfo (Rudy) Sandoval; her companion, Mario A. Renteria, Jr., as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many church friends she made along the way.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 5 pm to 9 pm at Hillside Funerals & Cremations. A Prayer Service will be held at 7 pm.

Final viewing will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 7 am to 12 noon at Hillside Funerals & Cremations. Funeral Service will commence at 11 am.

All services will conclude in the chapel. A cremation and private interment will be held at a later date.
