Manuel Arturo Davila

Manuel Arturo Davila, 76, entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 4, 2022, in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Davila is preceded in death by his mother, Mercedes Martinez.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Marta Davila Escamilla, Melinda Davila, and Manuel A. (Carmen) Davila Jr., grandchildren, Kristina Davila Arredondo (Leopoldo Arredondo Jr.), Elizabeth Davila (Darryl McPherson), Anna Clarissa Davila, Carlos Romanos, and Alyssa Romanos; great-grandchildren, Levy Andres Arredondo, Matthew Ryan Davila, and Myles Mathias McPherson. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank Mr. Davila’s caregivers, Aidee Rojas, Juanita Saldivar, and Bryan Saldivar.

A rosary will be recited on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022, at 9:15 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to St. John Neumann Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m.

Interment will follow to the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Moises Jaimes, Enrique Molina, David Moreno, Leopoldo Arredondo Jr., Darryl McPherson, and Marcos Castillo.
