El Sr. Manuel Alejandro Olivo entró a su descanso eterno a la edad de 85 años en la ciudad de Laredo. Ya descansa en la presencia de nuestro Padre Celestial. Manuel Alejandro sirvio a su patria en el Departamento del Army por mas de 8 años, habiendo recibido su descarga Honorable.

Le preceden en muerte sus padres: Alejandro y Concepción Olivo; hermano: Jesus Olivo.

Le sobreviven su esposa: Sra. Martha V. Olivo; hijos e hijas: Manuel Alejandro (Mariah Salinas) Olivo Jr., Rebecca (David) Olivo de Plasencia, Veronica (Derek) Horanzy, Ricardo (Esmeralda) Olivo, Jaime (Consuelo) Olivo, Jose Alberto (Vanessa Acosta) Olivo; 20 nietos, 4 bis-nietos; hermanos y hermanas: Maria Guadalupe (Benito +) Soto, Ramiro (Patricia) Sanchez, cuñada: Ismaela Olivo, al igual que un gran numero de sobrinos, demás familiares y amigos.

El duelo se recibe el día miércoles 8 de febrero del 2023 a partir de las 5 de la tarde hasta las 9 de la noche en la Capilla de la Funeraria Hillside, donde se ofrecerá un Culto de Oración a las 7 de la tarde por el Rev. Pastor Guadalupe Puente Jr.

Las honras fúnebres tomarán lugar el día jueves 9 de febrero del 2023 saliendo de la funeraria a las 9:30 am para el Templo El Buen Pastor donde se celebrara un servicio a las 10 de la mañana, con el Rev. Pastor Guadalupe Puente Jr.

El cortejo partirá del Templo El Buen Pastor a las 10:45 de la mañana hacia el Panteón de la Ciudad de Laredo para su sepultura con las honras militares proveídas por el US Army y el Laredo Veteran's Honor Guard.

Los padrinos de ataud seran: Manuel Alejandro Olivo Jr., Ricardo Olivo, Jaime Olivo, Jose Alberto Olivo, David Plasencia, Derek Horanzy, Danny Olivo y Brandon Matthew Olivo.

Padrinos de honor seran: Lloyd Anthony Soto y Jesus Olivo Jr.

Mr. Manuel Alejandro Olivo entered into the presence of his Heavenly Father on February 4, 2023 in Laredo, Texas. Manuel Alejandro served his country proudly in the US Army, having received his Honorable Discharge after more than 8 years of service.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Alejandro and Concepcion Olivo; brother: Jesus Olivo.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved wife: Mrs. Martha V. Olivo; children: Manuel Alejandro (Mariah Salinas) Olivo Jr., Rebecca (David) Olivo de Plasencia, Veronica (Derek) Horanzy, Ricardo (Esmeralda) Olivo, Jaime (Consuelo) Olivo, Jose Alberto (Vanessa Acosta) Olivo; 20 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; siblings: Maria Guadalupe (Benito +) Soto, Ramiro (Patricia) Sanchez, sister-in-law: Ismaela Olivo, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Condolences will be received on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 5 to 9 pm at Hillside Funeral Home; a Prayer Service will be offered at 7 pm by Rev. Pastor Guadalupe Puente Jr.

The funeral procession will depart at 9:30 am to Templo El Buen Pastor for a funeral service at 10 am on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at the funeral chapel with Rev. Pastor Guadalupe Puente Jr., officiating.

Procession will depart the church at 10:45 am to the Laredo City Cemetery for the interment with Military Honors being provided by the US Army out of Ft. Sam Houston and the Laredo Veteran's Honor Guard.

Pallbearers will be: Manuel Alejandro Olivo Jr, Ricardo Olivo, Jaime Olivo, Jose Alberto Olivo, David Plasencia, Derek Horanzy, Danny Olivo and Brandon Matthew Olivo.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Lloyd Anthony Soto and Jesus Olivo Jr.
