Margarita P. Lara

Margarita P. Lara, 71, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018 in Laredo, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Andres and Benancia Perez; brothers, Antonio Perez and Alfredo Perez; sister, Josefina Barrera; nephews, Jaime Perez, Raul Perez and Charlie Godina. Mrs. Lara is survived by her children, Ricardo (Guadalupe) Valls, Rosario (Roberto) Hernandez, Rosalinda (Diego) Ocampo; 7 grandchildren, Ricardo Valls, Jr., Ramiro Valls, Vivian Valls, Roberto Hernandez, Jr., Anthony Hernandez, Andrew Hernandez, Alissa Hernandez; siblings, Santos (Pedro +) Saavedra, Andres (Irma) Perez, Jr., Rosa (Ruben) De Leon, Leonor (Genaro) Rodríguez and Elena (Refugio) Godina. Also surviving are nieces, nephews and numerous relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
