Maria de Jesus Rivera, 91, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 24, 2022, in Leakey, Texas.
Mrs. Rivera is preceded in death by her husband, Alberto Rivera; son, Juan Jose (+Marta) Lazcano; and brother, Jose Cruz Vallejo.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Rosa Irma (Charles Jr.) Clark, Maria Teresa (Sandy) Gibson, Maria Gloria (Guillermo) Chapa, Maria Guadalupe (Jaime) Martinez, Cinia Isabel (Vicente)Mancha, Jesus Lazcano Jr.; and sister, Maria Ignacia Zavala. Mrs. Rivera is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A chapel service will be held at 11:00 AM. A formal procession will depart immediately after service.
Interment will follow to the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
