Maria Eliza Gonzalez

On June 26, 2025, Maria Eliza Gonzalez, 57, gained her eternal wings and went to be with our Lord in heaven. She is now at peace. Born on September 14, 1967, in Laredo, Texas, the daughter of Arnulfo Molina Jr. + and Julia Gonzalez de Molina, Maria Eliza had been a resident of Laredo for her entire life. She retired from Laredo College as an administrative assistant. With courage and dignity, Maria Eliza fought a 7 year battle with metastatic breast cancer. Her faith never wavered and her strength was an inspiration to all who met her. She is beloved by many and will forever be held near and dear to those whom she loved and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her father: Arnulfo Molina Jr.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 31 years, Mario Arturo Gonzalez; children: Marcos Emmanuel Gonzalez and Elisa Esmeralda Gonzalez; mother: Julia Gonzalez de Molina; siblings: Josefina Molina, Arnulfo (Cindy) Molina III, Julia (Omar) Molina Gonzalez; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, June 29, 2025, from 5 to 9 pm at Hillside Funerals & Cremations, where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be offered at 7 pm.

Funeral services will continue on Monday, June 30, 2025, from 7 am until 9 am, where the procession will depart to San Martin de Porres Catholic Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Mario Arturo Gonzalez, Marcos Emmanuel Gonzalez, Arnulfo Molina III, Omar Gonzalez, Manuel Eduardo Abad, and Abraham Molina.
