Maria Amparo Medina

Maria Amparo Medina, 99, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018 in Laredo, Texas. Mrs. Medina is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Martinez; parents, Lorenzo Medina and Elena Medina. She is survived by her son, Jose Lorenzo (Rosa Maria) Martinez; grandchildren, Jose L. Martinez Jr., Itzamara (Cesar) Rivas, Mariel (Ruben) Garcia, Carlos J. (Gabriela) Martinez, and Edson Martinez. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Hillside Funeral Home. A chapel service will be held at 12:00 p.m. with Deacon Soto officiating.  Interment will follow at the City of Laredo Cemetery.
