Maria Luisa Renteria

Mrs. Maria Luisa Renteria, 87, entered eternal rest on May 2, 2025, in Laredo, Texas. Maria Luisa was born in Mexico, on January 23, 1938, the daughter of the late Bruno and Consuelo Chapa. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elias Renteria and sister Oralia Longoria Chapa.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her children: Maricela (Noe Treviño) Renteria, Mauricio Renteria, Jesus Elias (Sylvia Clemens) Renteria; grandchildren: Hugo Salas, Edna Zaira Salas, Jesus Issac (Melissa Castañeda) Renteria, Gabriel Isaias Renteria, Mauricio Luis Renteria, Roman Elias Renteria, and Angelina Ivana Renteria; great-grandchildren: Kate Salas, Luisa Salas, Nolan Fairburn, Alexander Hugo Fairburn, Andres Renteria, Ellie Alina Renteria, as well as other family, and friends.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, from 8 am until 1 pm at Hillside Funerals and Cremations. Liturgy of the Word and Rosary will be held in the chapel at 1215 pm

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
