Maria Alicia J. Rodriguez

Maria Alicia J. Rodríguez, 77, of Laredo, Texas passed away peacefully on Friday, May 11, 2018. Our Lord has taken an angel to heaven. Maria was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, enjoyed life to the fullest.  Mrs. Rodriguez worked in retail for 25 years and became the owner of Alicia’s Bridal Boutique for 10 years. Mrs. Rodriguez was preceded in death by her parents, Petra L. Jaime and Eufracio Jaime; brothers, Javier Jaime,  Enrique Jaime, Guadalupe Jaime, and Heriberto Jaime; sister, Estela Jaime. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Francisco Rodriguez; children, Jesus Antonio (Minerva H.) Rodriguez, Alfredo (Minerva V.) Rodriguez,  and Maria Alicia (Danny) Sosa Jr.; grandchildren , Alicia Cristina (Rogelio) Solis, Clarrissa Abigail Rodríguez, Kimberly Ann Rodríguez, Elizabeth Grace Sosa, Marc Anthony Rodríguez, and great grandson , Isaiah Raphael Solis ; also surviving her are numerous brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. A rosary will be recited on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
