Maria M Tamez

Maria M. Tamez, 97, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 in Laredo, Texas. Mrs. Tamez is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Maria Del Carmen Morales; husband, Ramiro Tamez; daughter, Maria Del Carmen Tamez. She is survived by her children, Manuel Tamez, Aurora Zepeda, Francisco Tamez, Georgina Tamez, Martin (Santa) Tamez, and Maria Teresa Tamez; her two dogs, Corgis Lulu, and Sofi. Mrs. Tamez is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
