Into the arms of the Heavenly Father, we entrust the souls of our dear Maria de Lourdes “Lulu” Rincon, 40 and our precious Maximiliano Andres Ortiz, 15, who were taken away suddenly from this earth.

Lulu was born in Dilley, Texas on October 15, 1982, to Elias Rincon and Maria de Lourdes Johnson Contreras and was a proud resident of Laredo and an even prouder of all the accomplishments she had made throughout her life. She was a proud Nurse with Frontier Corporation.

Max was born in Laredo, Texas on January 29, 2008, to Mario Alberto Ortiz and Maria de Lourdes Rincon. He was a Sophomore at LBJ Early College High School. Max was excited to be a part of the upcoming Princess Pocahontas presentation.

Lulu and Max are preceded in death by their paternal and maternal grandfather’s and great-grandfather’s respectively, Tomas Rincon Garcia and Arnulfo Johnson Salinas.

Lulu is survived by her parents: Elias (Maria Elena Gonzalez) Rincon and Maria de Lourdes Johnson; sons: Mario Alberto Ortiz and Mateo Isaiahs Rincon; siblings: Erika Lizeth Rincon (Cesar Gonzalez), Karina Edith Rincon, Gabriela Elizabeth Rincon; paternal grandmother: Aurora Garcia de Rincon; maternal grandmother: Maria Teresa Contreras de Johnson, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Max is survived by his father: Mario Alberto Ortiz (Esmeralda Santillan); siblings: Mario Alberto Ortiz and Mateo Isaiahs Rincon; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, from 5 to 10 pm at Hillside Funerals & Cremations, where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be offered at 7 pm.

Funeral procession will depart at 9:15 am on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, to Divine Mercy Catholic Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
