Pedro Palizo Jr.

Pedro Palizo Jr., 76, was called by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to his heavenly kingdom on Thursday, Jul 21, 2022. He was a graduate of Martin High School and was part of the Mighty Tiger Band. He received his BS in Biology from Texas A&I University. In 1971, Pedro was
happily married to Maria Luisa Palizo who was his loving partner in life for 51 years.

Pedro grew up with a strong Catholic faith and was previously involved in many church activities. He served as a Eucharist Minister and a Coordinator for Altar Servers, CCD and CHOICE retreat at St. John Neumann.

He was a retired teacher and taught Science at Christen Middle School for 42 years.

His pride and joy was spending time with his family and grandchildren and supporting them in all of their endeavors.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Deacon Pedro Palizo Sr. and Petra Molina Palizo and his sister Rosa (Eddie) Oliver.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Maria Luisa Palizo; children Pedro Antonio (Monica) Palizo, Claudia M. Palizo, Gerardo Palizo, Cynthia Renee (Manuel) Perez, Christina L. (Andres) Arreguin, Sergio G. Palizo; grandchildren, Christopher Palizo, Nicholas Gabrillo, Mario Reyes Jr., Peter A. Palizo Jr., Jeremy Gabrillo, Gerardo Palizo, Andrew Arreguin, Aaron Arreguin, Alexis Reyes, Alyssa Gabrillo, Lauren Palizo, Emma C. Arreguin, Emily Perez, and Victoria Palizo; great grandchildren, Kaelynn and Jayden Oviedo. Mr. Palizo is also survived by his siblings, Ramona (Eliodoro) Granados, Sergio (Leticia) Palizo, Bernardo Palizo, Agapito (Anita) Palizo, Javier (Norma) Palizo, Clara Raquel Palizo and Olga Palizo and numerous nieces and
nephews.

A vigil of the deceased and Holy rosary will be held on Tuesday, Jul 26, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at the Hillside Funeral Chapel. The family will be receiving condolences from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Funeral services will depart from Hillside Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. to St. Patrick Catholic Church for a Holy Mass at 9:30 a.m.

Interment will follow to the family plot at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Palizo, Nicholas Gabrillo, Mario Reyes Jr. Gerardo Palizo, Peter A. Palizo Jr., Jeremy Gabrillo, Andres Arreguin and Manuel Perez.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Aaron Arreguin and Andrew Arreguin.
