Ramona T. Ledezma

July 12, 1929 — April 2, 2021

Ramona Ledezma entered the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She received her crown on Friday, April 2nd, 2021, in Round Rock, Texas.  Ramona was born July 12, 1929.

At an early age, she learned to sew. She became a proficient seamstress. Sewing and creating custom clothing and textile masterpieces would become a lifelong passion for Ramona. She would sew dresses for family and friends and clients for any and all special occasions. Ramona could always be found sitting at her sewing table surrounded by fabric, or in textile stores all over town searching for the best patterns and prices. Ramona had many endeavors besides her sewing. She was a tenacious entrepreneur. She had a keen eye for business trends and would not hesitate to capitalize on any opportunity. She had a retail storefront in downtown Laredo for some time and in 1975 began selling Shaklee vitamin supplements. She would one day become a top saleswoman for Shaklee and be awarded two cars for her accomplishments. She accomplished all of this despite never holding a driver’s license or learning to drive. Nothing stopped her from being where she needed to be. Her greatest accomplishment in a long and fruitful life was finding her salvation and relationship with Jesus Christ. She would go on to proclaim the power of the Holy Spirit to all she would meet and teaching her family about Jesus and salvation. She found her spiritual home at Dunamis Ministries in Laredo, TX under the guidance and mentoring of two of God’s servants, Mercedez Aguero and Leila Martinez. They would pray together and entered a fellowship that would last until Ramona’s last days and beyond. These two women of God were always vigilant and prayerful. They interceded for Ramona and were two of her favorite people. When Ramona would visit her family in Austin, TX she would attend Iglesia Maranatha. She was fond of learning the word of God from Pastors Miguel and Cindy Juarez. Thank you, Pastors, for your guidance and support. Ramona learned the truth of Jesus Salvation and galvanized her faith in Jesus in her final years. She faithfully served her Lord and savior and blessed her family with his teachings and salvation. Her descendants will be blessed for generations to come.

Mrs. Ledezma is preceded in death by her loving husband, Francisco R. Ledezma; her parents, Arcadio Tobias and Eulalia Soliz; and her siblings, Francisco Tobias, Arcadio Tobias, and Tomas Tobias.
