Rodolfo "Rudy" Aguilar

Mr. Rodolfo "Rudy" Aguilar, 39, entered into the arms of His Heavenly Father on March 5, 2023, having been surrounded by his loving family by his side. Rodolfo was born in Laredo, Texas on May 20, 1983 to Raul and Yolanda Aguilar. He was a true Laredoan throughout his whole life and was proud of being a Martin Tiger, having graduated with the class of 2002.

He is preceded in death by his father: Raul Aguilar; brother: Raul Aguilar Jr.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 17 years of marriage: San Juanita "Janie" Aguilar; daughter: Sophia Haylie Aguilar; mother: Yolanda Aguilar; siblings: Carlos Aguilar, Veronica (Higinio) Casiano, Elizabeth (Ronald) Roberts, Marissa Aguilar, Melissa Aguilar and Priscilla (Benjamin) Akins; father and mother in law: Hugo and Maria Resendez; sisters-in-law: Sandra (Lee) Flores, Adriana Resendez,  as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will gather on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, from 5 to 9 in the evening at Hillside Funerals & Cremations, 310 W. Hillside Rd, where Rosary will be offered for the repose of his soul in the chapel at 7 in the evening.

Funeral procession will depart the chapel at 8 o’clock in the morning of Thursday, March 16, 2023, to San Luis Rey Catholic Church, for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 8:30 in the morning.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Carlos Aguilar, Higinio Casiano, Raul Aguilar III, Manuel Sanchez, Hugo Resendez, and Lee Flores.
