Rodolfo Soliz

September 28, 1947 — February 23, 2021

Rodolfo Soliz, 73, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, in Laredo, Texas.

He enjoyed his time working for Sames Ford “Texas Oldest Dealership” and retired after more than 25 years. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend that will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mr. Soliz is preceded in death by his wife, Blanca Estela Soliz; parents, Zaragoza and Paulita Soliz Jr.; and in-laws, Indalecio (Francisca) Trujillo.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Cordelia (Juan III) Villa; grandchildren, Abraham Alexander Villa and Krystal Alexis Villa; siblings, Zaragoza (Laura) Solis III, Ricardo (Elsa) Soliz, Rosalinda (Adalberto) Barrera, and Nelda (Arturo) Bernal. Mr. Soliz is also survived by four sisters-in-law, and one brother-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A private funeral service was held on Monday, March 1, 2021.

Pallbearers were Juan Villa III, Javier Hector Leal, Jose Jorge Buitron III, Dean Solis, Roberto Soliz Jr., and Roberto Soliz III.

Interment followed to the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

The family would like to give thanks to Dr. Arturo Garza-Gongora, Dr. Laura Garza-Gongora, Priscilla Ramos FNP, and staff.
