Rosaura Alfaro

Rosaura Alfaro, 55, entered into eternal rest on April 16, 2026, in Laredo, Texas. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and beloved sister whose presence brought warmth and strength to all who knew her.

Rosaura was preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Paula Medina; her siblings, Lorenzo Medina, Victor Medina, and Josefina Aguirre; and her granddaughter, Aleena Avitu.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to be carried on by her husband, Jose Luis Alfaro; her children, Maria Guadalupe Alfaro, Jose Luis Alfaro Jr., Priscilla Lizet Alfaro, Jesus Francisco Alfaro, and Mayra Alexandra Alfaro; and her 18 beloved grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her siblings, Amparo Ramon, Magdalena Medina, Hector Medina, Luis Medina, Robert Medina, Ana Medina, and Martin Medina, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Rosaura will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her kind heart, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her memory will live on in the lives she touched and the love she shared.

Family will be receiving condolences on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Hillside Funerals and Cremations, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 7:00 AM at Hillside Funerals and Cremations. The procession will depart the funeral home at 9:00 AM to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass at 9:30 AM. Services will conclude at the church. A cremation will take place at a later date.
