Sanjuana De La Peña

On December 9, 2025, Mrs. Sanjuana de la Pena closed her eyes on this earth and is now fully rejoicing in the presence of the Almighty in Heaven. She was blessed with 66 years of life on this earth, where she created a beloved and cherished family that will carry on her legacy.

Preceeding her in death are parents, Emerico Nevares Delgado and Porfiria Belmares Cardona; sister, Evis Gaytan Nevares and brother, Napolion Nevares Belmares.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her spouse: Omar Ariel de la Pena; children: Omar Alberto (Dolores de la O) de la Pena, Guadalupe de la Pena, Oscar Adrian de la Pena; grandchildren: Gael melchor de la Pena, Aurora de la Pena, Carolina de la Pena; siblings: Javier Nevares Belmares, Alfonso Nevares Belmares, Enrique Nevares Belmares, Homero Nevares Belmares, Carlos Nevares Belmares, Savitas Nevares Belmares, Gloria Nevares Belmares, Nora Nevares Belmares, Blanca Nevares Belmares, Elvira Nevares Belmares, Eva Lisa Nevares Belmares, and Ana Maria Nevares Belmares, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will gather on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 11 am to 2 pm at Hillside Funerals & Cremations, where a Liturgy of the Word will commence at 1 pm.

Funeral services will conclude at the end of the visitation and a private cremation will take place at a later date.
