Mrs. Simona C. Cavazos, was called home to be with the Lord, at the age of 104, having been surrounded by her beloved family by her side. She was born on January 5, 1920 in Gowen, Oklahoma.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Cavazos; parents: Juan and Isabel Candido; siblings: Margarita Candido, Valente Candido, Pedro Candido, Clara Candido, Raymundo Candido.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her sons: Juan A. (Anita) Cavazos, Ricardo (Maria Guadalupe) Cavazos; grandchildren: Veronica (Kevin) Cavazos Davis, Nicolas A. (Sara) Cavazos; great-grandchildren: Evan B. (Analisa) Davis, Cole A. Davis; great-greatgrandchild, Aubrey J. Davis, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, from 5 pm to 9 pm at Hillside Funerals and Cremations, where a Rosary will be offered for the repose of her soul at 7 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 9:00 am. Funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 8:30 am.
Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
