Sylvia Martinez Romero

Sylvia Martinez Romero, 76, was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven on September 10, 2025, in Laredo, Texas. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Pascual S. Martinez Jr and Manuela Martinez, as well as her brother, Oscar Martinez.

She is survived by her children: Valerie Jean Romero, Carlos Javier Romero (Kristina), Adriana Denise Montgomery (Troy); grandchildren: Vivica Francel Romero, Carlos Javier Romero II, Nayelhi Annalise Holguin, Aaron Luis Romero, Aisling Roselle Montgomery, Aiden Rolo Montgomery; her lifelong friend and father of her children, Jose Luis Romero, as well as other relatives and friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 2 pm until 6:30 pm at Hillside Funerals and Cremations, where a Prayer Service will be held at 4:30 pm in the chapel.

Services will conclude and a cremation will follow at a later date.
