On June 26, 2025, Teodoro Linares, 93, has been called to present himself to the Almighty in Heaven, after completing a long, blessed, loving, and successful mission on Earth. Ted was born on November 9, 1931 in Beeville, Texas, the son of the late Roman and Flavia Linares. Teodoro entered the US Marine Corp, by volunteering to head to combat during the Korean War. He faithfully served his country. Ted lost his father at an early age; thus, having his family move to Laredo to make it their home. It was in Laredo that he met the love of his life in 1959, the beautiful Lydia Sanchez. God blessed the marriage that saw 3 wonderful daughters, that will continue the legacy of a great man.

He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Josefina (Carmen) Guerra, Bertha (Enrique) Alvarado, Cecilia Martinez.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 64 years of marriage: Lydia Sanchez Linares; daughters: Diana (Kenneth) Chesney, Lisa Hachar, Naomi (John) Pallante; grandchildren: Theodore (Christina) Dovalina, Richard Hachar Jr., Sarah Hachar, Olivia Pallante, Sophia Pallante; great-grandchildren: Allison Dovalina, Emily Dovalina; step-brother: Antonio Barro, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10 am on Friday, July 18, 2025 at Hillside Funerals and Cremations. Visiting Hours will be from 8 am to 10 am.

Funeral procession will depart at 10:30 am to the Laredo City Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest in the Veteran's Columbarium, where Military Honors will be presented by the US Marine Corps and the Laredo Veteran's Honor Guard.
