Trinidad B. Sarmiento

Trinidad B. Sarmiento, born January 6, 1933 in Lockhart, Texas passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022 in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Sarmiento is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Marcelina Bustos; daughter, Baby Trinidad Sarmiento; siblings, Francisco Bustos, Trinidad “Trino” Bustos, Eduardo Bustos, Loreta Bustos, Agustina Bustos, Joaquina Bustos, Julio Bustos, and Felicia Bustos.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years of marriage, Delfino Sarmiento Sr.; children, Delia (Jose) Villarreal, Juan (Frances) Sarmiento, Trinidad Sarmiento, Gloria (Francisco) Gonzalez, Delfino (Blasita) Sarmiento, and Daniel (Olga) Sarmiento; grandchildren, Mara- Alyzza Benavidez, Raymond Gonzalez, Eric X. Gonzalez, Daniel Sarmiento Jr., Sabrina Sarmiento, Vanessa Sarmiento, Alyssa Sarmiento, and Orlando Sarmiento; great-grand child, Eric Jacob Gonzalez. Mrs. Sarmiento is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. (Please note time of mass has changed)

Interment will follow to the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
