Veronica Yvonne Coleman

Veronica Yvonne Coleman entered eternal rest on May 28, 2026, at the age of 68.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor Pleas Coleman and Luz Maria Coleman; her sister, Mary Coleman Menchaca; and her nephews, Victor Hugo Menchaca, Ricardo Javier Vara, and Jose Luis Vara.

Left to cherish her memory are her siblings: Lillie Mae Coleman; Victor Pleas Coleman (Josefa); and Gloria Coleman Tyler (Francis). She is also lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews: John Menchaca; Alma Menchaca Lofendo (Joe); Annabel Menchaca; Carlos Manuel Vara Jr.; Dr. Cordelia Vara-Brehm (Dr. Chris); Eduardo Daniel Vara (Mickie Jo); Veronica Klein (Kenneth); and Lucy Goncalves (Marcos); numerous grandnieces and grandnephews; as well as many other relatives and dear friends.

Veronica will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and friends. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Hillside Funerals & Cremations, 310 W. Hillside Road, Laredo, Texas 78041. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church. A cremation will be held at a later date.

Pallbearers will be Carlos Manuel Vara Jr., Eduardo Daniel Vara, Christopher K. Brehm, Matthew Z. Brehm, Samuel N. Brehm, Victor Hugo Menchaca Jr., David Rendón, Elías Mendiola, and Lauro Ramos.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Dr. Christopher N. Brehm.
