Victor Hugo Menchaca

Victor Hugo Menchaca, 59, beloved Husband, Father, and Brother, was called to his eternal resting place on May 20, 2023.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Menchaca and Mary (Coleman) Menchaca. 

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Laura Menchaca; children, Matthew Consolo, Sheren Puente, Victor Hugo Menchaca, Jr., Manuel Menchaca; step children, Xavier Gonzalez and Andrew (Arianna) Gonzalez; step grandchildren,  Blythe and Jameson Gonzalez; siblings, John Menchaca, Alma (Joseph) Menchaca Lofendo, and Annabel Menchaca; nieces, Ana-Alicia Mascorro and Andrea Nicole Mascorro; nephews, Richard Mascorro and Joshua Menchaca; aunts, Thelma Lopez, Lillie Coleman, Gloria (Francis) Coleman Tyler, and Veronica Coleman; and uncle, Victor P. Coleman Jr. (Josefa "Pepi"). He is also survived by numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Thursday, May 25, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Hillside Funerals and Cremations. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023, at 8:30 AM from Hillside Funerals and Cremations to San Martin de Porres Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 9:00 AM.

Interment will follow to the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

After the interment, the Menchaca family invites you to attend a celebration of life luncheon in honor of our brother, husband, and friend at Palenque Grill HWY 35 where we can share stories and celebrate his life from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM. Food and refreshments will be available.
