"Soul of Christ, sanctify me.
Body of Christ, save me.
Blood of Christ, inebriate me.
Water from the side of Christ, wash me.
Passion of Christ, strengthen me.
O Good Jesus, hear me.
Within your wounds hide me.
Permit me not to be separated from you.
From the wicked foe, defend me.
At the hour of my death, call me
and bid me come to you
That with your saints I may praise you
For ever and ever. Amen."
On the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, our joy and blessing, Vivian Olivia Vasquez, was called to return to the father's house at the age of 27, having been lovingly surrounded by her loving family at her side. She battled Leukemia with steadfast faith and courage for 7 months. Her faith remained strong and her support system even stronger. As we prepare to bid farewell to a gentle spirit, we are comforted by the abundance of prayers and support. Vivian casted a ray of sunshine that could fill any room and every heart she touched. She was always an ear to whomever needed to vent or be supported for she was never one to judge. Anyone who knew Vivian knew her love for shopping and her fashion creativity, everyday was a runway. Vivian was not only a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a cousin, a friend but more importantly she was our little princess. May your memory be eternal, our sweet little princess Vivian. She is preceded in death by great-grandparents: Salvador Vasquez and Paulina Vasquez, George Bay Wise and Olga Beatriz Wise; uncle, Ricardo Solis, Alberto Vasquez. Left behind to cherish her memory are her parents: Salvador Amado Vasquez and Olga Cecilia Vasquez; siblings: Azlee Vasquez, Nick (Valeria) Vasquez, Noah Vasquez, Neil Vasquez, Jordan Wise; nieces and nephews: Marshall Vasquez, Derek Vasquez, Emily Vasquez; aunts and uncles: Georgia Anna Wise, Nancy Beatriz Wise, Helena Azlee Wise, Yolanda (Alberto) Charles, Rosario (Daniel) Rodriguez, Raymundo (Carol) Vasquez, Mario Vasquez, Javier Vasquez; grandfather, Salvador Vasquez Jr., as well as an extended family and many friends.
